Indirect ventilation safety goggles contain a venting system that prevents particles from coming into touch with the inside of the goggles directly. By including slanted vents that point away from the front lens the wearer sees through, this is accomplished.
On indirect vented eyewear, the vents are typically rotatable so the user may adjust them to their needs. When working with chemicals where there is a danger of splashing, indirectly vented safety eyewear are the best option. It will be much more difficult for the material to get to the user's eyes while wearing them because of their reverse facing vents. The fact that air must flow through an angle in order to reach the safety eyewear' indirectly vented design is one of their few drawbacks.
